Not that particular thing, but a Subaru Loyale that is hopefully in slightly better condition. The internet leaves me fairly reassured that this isn’t an entirely terrible idea, but I’m always open to input from the hive mind.
Also cross your fingers that a public strip mall where my coworkers can keep an eye out is a safe enough place that I won’t be murdered or robbed, thanks.

I wish I'd gotten the F1 car but I think this should be fun. Plus Walmart had a pretty good price on it.

Nice! I wish you good luck! I learned to drive stick on a ‘90 Legacy wagon, the effective successor to that Loyale, perhaps.

I know. Not a Tercel OR a Corolla. But still small 4wd wagon in my price range. It actually wasn’t on my search list but my dad called me today after just “discovering” them and there was coincidentally a decent one for sale near work. But we’ll see. It could be terrifying in person.

Haven’t gotten quite that far yet, sadly. I’ve also got the below, and the pistons - all 10! - work great (just spin a rear wheel).
